Flaky Buttery Biscuits

You Will Need

Preheat your oven to 450°F

Mix together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt, in a medium bowl. Cut in butter, until the largest pieces of butter are no larger than a small pea

Mix in milk

Turn dough out on a lightly floured surface.

Fold dough in half, press it down, and turn the dough a quarter turn. Then fold again, press down and turn. Do this 5 or 6 times.

Use your hands to gently flatten out the dough until it's 1/2in thick

Cut out with a floured biscuit cutter or a drinking glass. Place on a baking sheet

Refrigerate biscuits for 10-15 minutes before baking.

Bake 10-15 Minutes
